Our projects…

aim to provide neglected communities, both locally and internationally, with the support needed to alleviate hardships, promote well-being, and facilitate growth. We work closely with various organizations, government officials, and local leaders to identify communities in need and determine the impact of our work. Our projects focus on clean water, sustainable food sources, health & sanitation, education, and safety & security. Our main focuses for each project are depicted by their respective icons below.

A School That Will Change Everything!

In Kenya there are 3.6 million orphaned or vulnerable children. Many public schools are primitive rooms with dirt floors and no walls; books are rare and teacher to student ratios can be as drastic as 1 teacher for 120 students! If students can’t afford shoes, uniforms, or school supplies they are denied access to school, even the public schools. Linc Worldwide built a Catholic primary school called the Awasi Education Centre. The doors opened in January 2025 and we enrolled 61 orphaned and vulnerable students through our Child Sponsorship Program. Donors’ sponsorship enables these children who struggle to attend school due to financial reasons now have access to a strong education. Our students will also have access to free annual physicals and necessary medical treatment through our partnership with Bonyo’s Kenya Mission and Mama Pilista Memorial Medical Center.

Awasi, is a small town in Kisumu County. It is surrounded by farmland, and has a bustling market center. However, many families in the area do not have access to a clean water source. According to UNICEF, approximately 80 percent of hospital attendance in Kenya is due to preventable diseases and about 50 percent of these illnesses are water, sanitation and hygiene related. Contaminated water and poor sanitation are linked to transmission of cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis A, and typhoid. The next phase of our project involves drilling a well to supply the school with clean, running water and aid the community’s water crisis. We will install solar panel powered pumps to ensure our students do not go a day without running water. Our hope is to have the well complete by the end of 2025.

Awasi, Kenya

A Catholic primary school called the Awasi Education Centre and a well with solar powered pumps

Doors opened to our first students in January 2025. We intend to enroll an additional class of students at the end of each year for the following school year. Our goal is to secure an additional 25 Child Sponsor + Mentors by December 1, 2025 for the 2026 school year.  We also hope to have the well drilled by the end of 2025.

Orphaned and vulnerable children do not have the financial ability to attend school year round. We want to help these children not only survive, but thrive. Many children living in impoverished conditions eat once a day, making it difficult to concentrate at school and learn. Gathering unclean drinking water from nearby ponds and rivers increases the transmission of infections. These impoverished children have poor access to adequate healthcare to treat these infections as well as receive testing and treatment for other illnesses. Without treatment they have increased time away from the classroom and fall behind their peers.

We will provide a strong, Catholic, grade school education. Breakfast and lunch. Access to healthcare and necessary treatment. Clean water from our well. The ability to reach their full potential by meeting basic needs and nurturing their intellect. This will lay a strong foundation for them to attend secondary school and college. It will help end the cycle of poverty in this community.
